Does any1 know how to make thouse diamond shaped boxes like the ones displayed on most of the pages on this site. Example: if you go to the home page of this site then you will notice these boxes on either side of the page they look like tables but have curved corners and information is displayed in these boxes. links etc.

I currently am experimenting with templates at the moment and I would like do ad these features to the layout.

Those are tables, the rounded corners are little images.

Well, I believe George and Martha are working on a tutorial to explain how this is exactly done, but I can give you some pointers.

You can make a nested table, the outer table would hold images that stretch horizontally and vertically and for the corners you would use a small round image and then inside this outer table with the box you add another table holding your item or menu buttons or whatever. For something similar you can look at this link:
www.vortex-webdesign.com/help/table_tricks.htm

Here's some pointers to take into account with tables and it also adresses the round corners for Netscape browsers:

Hope that helps you on your way.
