I have many different catagories on one of my page and so I want to create a drop down menu for each one. But first I created my catagories which I used a five colum table nested in a layer and in each colum I put the diferent choices for for my content so that the visitor could mouse over the individual catagories and a menu would open and then they could click and go to a page. Then I created another layer of the same type and place those chioce under the first and so on. Now the problem is this when the first row menus would open the layer and content of the second row of choices bled right through my menus so that I could see what was under or right behing the menus. I am not happy about this and would like to know what is going on because no reference was made prior to buying the layer genie to what has happend. This was the reason I bought the layer genie. Please tell me what is going on.... Replies

If you don't specify a background either for a layer or for its content (in your case a table), then the layer is transparent. So yes, then you can see right through the layer.
Specify a background (either a color or an image) and your menus should be fine.
If this doesn't solve your problem, please post an URL for that page here so I can take a look at the problem.
