George,My menu with menu flyyouts is on the left-hand side of the page with the Active slide show taking up the main stage (approx. 550 px x 400 px). The problem is that when the menu flyout appear they are being almost completely hidden by the Active Slideshow. I am trying to build a site using CSS positioning and I can't find anything about how to slide the div for either the menu or the slideshow up or down. ANy ideas?
Thanks.
David

Hi David,
Unfortunately all browsers position all flash elements as well form elements on top of every other layers. This is just what the browsers do and can be very ugly on some dhtml menu's and layers.
I have seen solutions to this problem by placing the flash content in a iframe or so - but can not confirm it.

This problem should be solved by setting the Wmode to Transparent for in the Flash parameters. I haven't needed to do this yet with Active Slideshow, but has worked for other Flash I have done.
