After creating a test slideshow, I found that if I go much bigger than the default 450 x 300, the motion and transition effects get very jerky. Is there a size limit for the slideshow? I was hoping to make it full screen (1024 x 768 or close to it). Also, is there a size limit for the JPEGs?

There is no limit in the slideshow, but flash requires a lot of cpu when the scene gets big and that's why transitions don't run fine anymore.

We tried the test slideshow on a brand new machine with nothing else running - it has an Athlon 3800+ 2.4 G. chip and 512 MB RAM. The transitions are still jerky. How much CPU do we need for a full screen (1024 x 768) slideshow to work properly?

Hi Dan,

How big did you resize your photos? if the viewer size is 1024 x 768 then the photos need to be just like 30% more and not bigger - so like 1280 x 1024 should be fine for the photo size.

The CPU power you got should be just fine.

Greetings,
George
