I'm new to these forums, but not to fireworks and I'm not sure which gradients/tools to use to created a look similar to Windows Live's background at the top of this page:
get.live.com/messenger/whatsnew

I'd like to start with this in red and modify it with an extra texture or layer of some sort.
Any ideas or tutorials that would help me achieve this shape/form and texture?

Thank you.

Ok, not exactly perfect, but spot on for the most part.

the learn more button could be better colored.

feel free to save and learn from the things I've done on there.
