Unconsistant positioning of layer

I just purchased Layer genie for 1 reason. To have some flash logo buttons layered over the top of a flash banner that is in a table cell. I want the logos to be consistantly postioned when the user scrolls down the page or resizes the window. See example www.osmosewebsiteone.com/home/welcome/welcome.html

Layer Genie achieves this in all the other browsers except IE6. When the page loads it sometimes postions the logos correctlt and then sometimes it doesnt. If you hit refresh it changes there position. Please check www.osmosewebsiteone.com/home/welcome/welcome.html and see if it it is the same with you. the logos should be positioned over the main banner.

Any ideas why it is unconsistant with where the layer is postione din IE6?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you but I have been back to England for a few weeks. I recently moved to the US because my work brought me here, not web design but print.

Anyway, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I should firstly point out that I am very new to website design and have been given a massive undertaking by being given the responavbility of developing our company website, so any points, feedback or comments would be gratefully appreciated.

I have taken of the password so you should be able to see the page now. If it does ask you then the username is<img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>smose and the password is:micropro www.osmosewebsiteone.com/home/welcome/welcome.html

The layer genie works well but i am having trouble getting it to position over the flash/swf banner when the page first loads. it only positions over the flash/swf banner when you click on the browser window and start to resize it for some reason. Any ideas? I have snaped the 'logo layer' carring the 4 logos to the Osmose logo in the green panel running across the top, and it is set to 'on load'.

Is this happening with you? Any ideas or should I address my problem in a different manner?

You have applied Layer Genie to the onLoad event of a TD tag, whereas it should be applied to the onLoad event of the BODY tag.

A BODY Tag? can you please explain a liitle more. I thought that the tabel and table cell was in a BODY Tag? I am very new to web design and know very little about HTML.

Could you explain where or what image I should apply the layer genie behavior to to get the layer 'logo' to snap into position when the browser page loads?

Again very sorry for my lack of knowledge with this and thanks for all your help with this.

STOP THE CLOCK!!!I did it! I think ha!, well it works and thats enough for me.

I did what you said. I managed to locate a Body tag in the dreamweaver code view, the preload images I have' and then added the layer genie behavior to one of them..
I have only done it romotely and it works, but will start uploading the files soon.
