A nice extension, and I'd buy it if the navigation buttons weren't always tied to the images. Having them jump around when the image resizes is a usability pain. You shouldn't make the user have to constantly hunt down the location of the buttons. I'll wait for a future upgrade and hope that static nav buttons will be part of it.

I agree completely, and I probably would have bought this a long time ago if the navigation was better. I also don't think it's a good idea to place buttons on top of the images.

Here's an example of a site that, in IMHO, has very good navigation:

This is a flash site that uses a customized slideshowpro front-end, but if you could come up with something similar for CSS Image Gallery, I think it would be much better. It also needs some form of back-end administration, especially since it costs much more than most competing gallery options.

Thanks for the ideas! We already have planned this for the next update.
There you will be able to switch off the standard navigation and add the actions for next, previous etc to your own links or buttons as those will be available as dreamweaver behaviors.

Stop
Pause
Next
Previous
