Hi

I have a flashsite where we use a special pixelfont to keep the text crist sharp. An I want to be able to use the Flash Editor to manage the content. That all seems to work fine... but as is is not a "bold" version of the font but a special font in with a bold look I need to be able to make the client select the font (Normal and bold version) from the dropdown font menu... but how do I add fonts to the dropdown and remove fonts I don't want the client to use...???

Please advice
Kind regards
Brian Nielsen

Hi Brian,

Unfortunately, the current version of Flash HTML Editor does not provide customization of fonts and font sizes as of yet.

However, I will make sure to mention this in our feature tracking system. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Sorry to hear ;-(

I have tested so many different editors, and yours really have easy integration, file upload ect. But as many flash sites use special "pixel fonts" to be able to have sharp text there is an issue for me here - and I meeting a deadline tomorrow...

Is it posible for you at DMX zone to create a costom version if I tell you the name of the fonts... I imagine it is jst a matter of a new swf file

And if yes - what will it cost me ?

Kind regards
Brian

Hi Brian,

The extension uses the installed fonts on the end-user machine. Therefore you might want to somehow advice the user to install these fonts first.

However, you still cannot restrict which fonts will be used and eventually to reduce the list.
