Hi!

My page with CSS image gallery is working litle bit strange. I can't see the latest thumbnail image, however it's figured on the HTML code. The latest image is figured correctly, and I see this well, but the image thumbnail... "goes to seven heaven". I don't know what is wrong, because on the generated HTML code I see URL to the latest image and their thumbnail too.

Thanks,

Istvan

Hi Miroslav!

You could see the image gallery test page on the following URL:

www.borskreativ.hu/cssgallery_test/

Go on thumbnails to the latest figured thumbnail (you could see 4 tetrapack botles TopJoy fitness). Of course, when you click on it, you can see this picture, but when you click to right button on picture, you could see the following picture, which is not represented by thumbnail (crouched blond girl). You could see in HTML code (on picture and thumbnail section) the latest picture and thumbnail URL:

pictures
---------
li img src="images/topjoy3.jpg"......

thumbnails
-------------
li img src="thumbs/topjoy3.jpg"......

Hmmm...I realy don't know how could I solve this problem.

Many Thanks!

Istvan

Hi Miroslav!

I've tested it on IE6 (.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254), but now I tested it on Firefox3 (WinXP and Mac OS X) and Safari ... I see the latest thumbnail too. It seems, it's an idiot bug in IE6. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
I'll try to clear cache, maybe it helps.

Thanks!

Hi Sesztak,

As IE 7 is the most istalled Update in Windows, I think you have nothing to worry about. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

When can we expect a fix for this bug?

From what I can see it is a problem of the width of &lt;ul&gt; element on the thumbnails. The last thumbnail is being pushed down below the second to last &lt;li&gt;. I just need a way to tell IE6 to see x more pixels of width on that element.

It only affects the gallery when top or bottom is chosen for the thumbnail location. It works fine if left or right placement is used.
