From HTML we can launch slidespro using the code below we can pass the xmlFile to the slideshowpro SWF file:

slideshowpro.swf?xmlFile=newImages.xml

What would be the specific actionScript code I should use inside of flash to launch/load the slideshowpro.swf file and pass it the xmlFIle parameter?

loadMovie?

I look forward to your answer <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hi Chris,

I assume that you want to use our Dreamweaver component in Flash IDE.

As of yet we do not provide Forum For Active Slideshow Pro version for Flash.

Hi,

What I am trying to do is to use to output of the flash extension (slideshowpro.swf, slideshow.xml) by loading them into Flash. I can't believe that nobody has attempted to do this yet. My only question was; what would be the Flash code (loadMovie) to pass the parameter for the XML file.

I realize that this product is intended to be used with Dreamweaver. But you have provided instructions to integrate the output SWF and XML with PowerPoint. Why not provide instructions to use the SWF and XML with Flash. This cannot be be that difficult of a problem. Please don't give me the standard - "not supported" answer.

I really need your help. Thanks in advance for your support <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hi Chris,

If you get a little time to check out the net, you will come to same conlcusion, because importing XML and SWF files in Flash are possible,
but so far there is no known metod of getting imported SFW to read the imported XML as with flashvars in HTML. However ther may be a way,
but it may be a coding task, witch may take more time than simple tutorial will and will be more like creating additional otions in extension if we
consider to do it.
