This menu option allows you to right-click (or command-click on a mac) a file or folder in the site window and find it's location in your system! Instead of looking at the path and trying to figure it out, the extension will open the folder for you!

Fantastic!

Well this is something I always whated to have! From your site files, right click and then Locate File/Folder - this will open the Windows Explorer at the exact location!

Very easy for example when you need a quick local preview of your html page. Locate in Explorer then double click it and it is in IE! Or you want quicly to make a zip from your site - again Locate in Explorer and then zip it!

Fantastic Work!

What use ??

To preview I usually simply hit my F12 or Ctrl+F12 button.

To zip your site, you can use the ZIP extension for UD: www.UDzone.com/go?1347

When you have remote site defined - file always get uploaded first under temporary name to preview it. Sometimes you don't want that and need local preview.

Also sometimes you just want to have quick view in explorer - to do a lot of other things that just can't be done from within DW/UD without a lot of trouble.

Anyway if it is not handy to you - well don't use it. To me it is a very handy extension.

Another use would be locating another file (like a picture or a pdf or something). I use this extension extensively when developing for DW/UD when it comes time to gather all the pieces into one folder.
