An extension to format your server data and one to secure it

Our developers have been working to make these two extension releases possible and it's almost time for them to make an official appearance. Have you ever used HTML5 Data Bindings Formatter? Well, it's time for its server side version and it's coming next Wednesday. Supplied with 55 formatting filters, DMXzone Server Formatter will let you format your server data any way you want without writing a single line of code. Also we have an add-on for it, called Server Data Formatter Crypto to generate cryptographic hashes for secure password validation and more.

Update or Upgrade?

September 23, 2016 by Greta Garberini
I've been using extended formatter for quite some while. It is very useful for all kinds of things. Like "show something if a returned value starts with a certain string". Will the new Data Formatter replace this or is it an upgrade?

It is a new Server Connect extension

Hi Greta, the new extensions is a "Server" Data Formatter. So it all takes place on the server side within a Server Connect action. So it formats data not directly for the client - but within the server actions. Think of it for example for generating hashes for user passwords, converting data during import, formatting data for the mail template you are sending server side. So it is a whole new extension that we didn't had yet.
