PHP Form Validation Pack - VDaemon Lite
An important aspect of creating Web Forms pages for user input is to be able to check that the information users enter is valid. VDaemon Lite grants an easy-to-use but powerful way to check for errors and, if necessary, display messages to the user. VDaemon Lite provides several custom HTML tags to allow developer define form validation rules and some PHP functions to define validation behavior.
VDaemon Lite gives mechanism for all common types of standard validation:
- required fields
- field type
- range
- compare
- regular expression
- e-mail
- custom
In addition, VDaemon Lite allow you to completely customize how error information is displayed to the user.

UI Access
After installing VDaemon Lite extension if you open PHP document VDaemon Lite tab appears in the Insert Panel. VDaemon extension is also accessible from the Insert menu.
If you want to enable all VDaemon Lite features do not forget to turn the following Dreamweaver preferences on:
Preferences -> Highlighting -> Third-Party Tags
Preferences -> Invisible Elements -> Nonvisual Server Markup Tags

Written by Bemi Irone on December 10, 2003I can't figure out how to use this. The tutorials seem meaningless because they just display pages of code. I am not a coder which is why I use extensions!!
