The error indicate a problem character with your path.
Most probably this is additional slash ('/' or '\') into the path.
slight issue with v1.7
Written by mark mccarthy on November 3, 2005have successfully uploaded the file to the server using pure asp upload 2.2.0. However, when I attempted to delete the file using: "delete files before record" I received the following error: "Cannot use the generic Request collection after calling BinaryRead" below is the offending line of code: if (CStr(Request("MM_delete")) = "deleteImage" And CStr(Request("MM_recordId")) <> "") Then anyone got any ideas?

Error in deleting files
Written by op hoel on June 23, 2004
In general: great extension.
However, I got an errormessage: When trying to delete a file before record:
Error Type:
Server.MapPath(), ASP 0174 (0x80004005)
An invalid '/' or '\' was found in the Path parameter for the MapPath method.
/Mysite/ScriptLibrary/incPUAddOn.asp, line 24
This is in the included script file (Version: 1.7.0) This is supposed to be the latest.
Line 24 goes like this: DF_fullFile = Server.MapPath(DF_path & DF_file)
What should I do?
Something very Useful

This extension pack is great, I would highly recommend getting, and for the low price of 29.00 that makes it even better for what it can do.
And again this reqiures no server .dll which is great as well, if you have a big host and they will not install a .dll because of server clustering this item and pureASP upload 2.9 is your answer, I bought both of these items and they work great and do exactly what they say.
Thanks George, can't wait to see what you come out with next

FSO on IIS
Written by Matthijs Horsman on June 5, 2002
First of all great extension (again!)
I came up a little problem (not the fault of the extension) when ure testing it locally on IIS and you are running Norton antivrus program, the file system object, that is used, may give some problems. It may help to switch of scriptblocking and reboot, then it works fine.

Excellent, George, Excellent!
Written by Jean-Marie Bonnar on May 15, 2002 Wow, George! Very wonderful add on extension! You don't know how I struggled with writing the code myself (just ask Jag).........I have a Gallery that displays pics using the FSO object, and I have the members upload pics into variable gallery folders and record the the full path of the pic in their individual pic records in the database. Before using this extension I couldn't really have them delete any gallery pics unless they also were deleted from the server because the FSO gallery script displays any pics that are left in the folders, regardless of whether or not they are in the database.
Within two minutes of downloading your extension and applying it though, I was able to flawlessly delete the correct file from the server and it's corresponding URL in the database, finally!!! Thank you so much!
Warm Regards,
Jean-Marie
haven't got the time to test it
