Works like a charm

Hi

Just wanted to say that 960 extension works like a charm.

Well, you have to have knowledge in html/css, otherwise it is hard to know what is happening.

Thank you for this wonderful extension.

Works as stated

At first I could not find the extension, but after branislov mirkov (thanks a lot)told me to press ctrl + F2 it appeared along with lots of other things. Perhaps I should have used CS4 more during my 3 years of ownership. The cells appear and generally do what they say they do. Could be useful after further investigation. Great for a free extension.

Found it too restrictive

Thanks + A problem

1. Thank you Charmaine for informing us of this good news ! I download the extension at last from the DMX zone site.

2. I have nevertheless a (big )problem since I cannot find the extension (which is activated according to the Adobe extension manager). I am working on a Mac with OSX 10.6.8 and have the version CS5.5 of Dreamweaver. I tried ctrl + F2 and fn + ctrl + F2 but to no avail. There must be adifferent trick. Could somebody help me?

Very convenient

Click on  Window>Insert from the general tab menu in DW , you can find the extension located under 960 grid tab in DW.

For further information take a look at the following video :

"Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded."

Hey Guys

Really excited to work with this within DW 5.5. I have the extension installed and a new page set up and am playing around with it. When I went to add some padding into the header, I got the error in the topic window above.

How do I go about getting rid of this so I can edit the CSS?

Thanks

Markham

Hello Markham

If you are trying to use the CSS panel in order to edit the grid css - please edit directly the css files.

Hello,

For all of you having any kind of errors when trying to insert or edit the 960 grid:

Please make sure you have defined your website in Dreamweaver:  http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/first_website_pt1.html

If you want to edit the CSS Styles:

Open the css files and edit the styles there.
