Hi, i'm not sure if this problem only happens on my system but after installing the Calendar 2 extension the Extension Manager from DW freezes during startup. It will show the loading extensions screen forever!

After some testing i found that if i move the file "dmxCalendar20.mxi_air" outside the folder "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS5.5\Configuration\Extensions" then the Extension Manager works again.
I run Dreamweaver CS5.5 on a windows 7 x64 machine.

Please let me know if there is some bug inside this file from this extension.

Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem:

I uninstalled and clean reinstalled DW5.5 (removing preferances).

Installed Calendar 2 (no other extensions loaded), registered. When opening Extension Manager it freezes.

Tested on both XP and Win7; DW5.5 Build 5315.

I removed the dmxCalendar20.mxi_air from the Extensions Folder (as in Mr van Zelst), updated to Adobe Air 3.1 and replaced the dmxCalendar20.mxi_air.

The Extension Manager now opens, but I cannot see Calender 2.0 yet I can use it within DW.

If I try to reload Calender 2.0 the Extension Manager freezes.

Kindest regards
Jan Kleinsmit

Exact same problem here. After removing dmxcalendar20 files from C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS5.5\Configuration\Extensions the Extension Manager worked again.
I run Dreamweaver CS5.5 on Windows 7 professional

I have exactly the same problem with Calendar2:

Win 7 64 bit Dreamweaver 5.5

When opening Extension Manager it freezes after installing Calendar 2.

I removed the dmxCalendar20.

The Extension Manager now opens.

If I try to install Calender 2.0 yet, the Extension Manager freezes.

Dear DMX Zone support team,

Please let us know if you are investigating this issue. It seems many more people have the same issue.
The fix i mentioned works however the Calendar will not show up in the extension manager anymore. So i just move this file out of its current folder whenever i need to use the extension manager. This is no fix to me so please investigate this issue even though you cannot reproduce this issue.
I'm sure you are able to solve this issue.

Thanks!

Dear DMX Zone support team,

Because the extension manager does not work i had to remove all 3 related files from the extension folder like mentioned in my first post. This way i could run the extension manager and install the updated calendar.

However the extension manager problem has not been solved with this update!!! It still freezes when you try to start it again. I'm not sure if this issue should have been resolved with this update anyway so please update us.

Thanks.

removed from extension manager 5 and 5.5 then re-installed 2.01 to both. the cs5 version works perfectly but the cs5.5 version is still buggy when adding calendar behaviours. works a treat in cs5

Not on the Mac platform it did not. I finally had to go into the Users/<name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS 5.5/ and delete the dmxCalendar20.mx* files (three total, two mxi and 1 mxp) then it finally installed. UPDATING did not work, period.

This is after doing a fresh download.
