Is it possible to prevent a user from select particular days of the week, in this case a Saturday or Sunday?

Under "Formating" Tab in the User interface you have a checkbox called : Selectable. You can add Saturday/Sunday's in the callendar and remove that checkbox if you want to prevent users from selecting that dates.

I can use that facility to 'turn off' the dates around Christmas, but it refused to allow me to use Saturday & Sunday (or even Sat / Sun) when I tried using the DD or D format. Any suggestions?
