George,

What is the best way to resize an existing Active SlideShow Pro Overlay so it can be used with a different size slideshow? I know it can be done because I did it once but now I can't do it gain. The overlay seems to always have the default dimensions of 550x400px even when I change the dimensions. Also, are there any tutorials on creating a custom overlay?

Hi Jim,

You really don't need to resize the overlay - it is always autosized so it fits your slideshow!
The size you enter is just the overlay stage not the real viewer size, so we can resize it properly to fit the viewer.

George,

I think I may have found the solutuon to my problem and that is to change the slideshow size in the Properties Panel. Such a simple solution. I had assumed you must do it in the editing windows.

Yes you can even drag and resize the visual object in the Dreamweaver editing page
