Software
1. Windows XP
2. Dreamweaver 8
3. Active Slideshow Pro 1.5.2

The issues happened during creation of my show, so i will skip "additional notes".

First thing I noticed is that you can't define a show dimension until it has been created? Is this right or am i just missing the control? I thought the W & H in the general tab was for the show size, but only seems to be for the overlay size because in my plug-in, height and width under the general tab would be grayed out until you selected an overlay. I figured out I could change the show dimensions afterward in the DW context panel below, but that is confusing.

I see these next two are because I have not used Arial. Is it JUST Arial or the variations of Arial as well like black? Couldn't you make it an option as to whether the font gets injected into the flash file upon creation and leave it up to your users? That way it only gains 50k for one set of fonts. Other applications like Photodex's Photoshow seem to have no issue with this although they have other issues with their flash implementation which is why I bought your plug-in to begin with. It seems rather odd to say, "yeah we do text transparency, anti aliasing and angle adjustment, but only with Arial."

Next, I used alpha transparency in my show and it seems to have no effect in my show. See www.braintreemedia.com

Also, I could not get the text to change angle using the angle control at all. They all wanted to stay flat no matter what I put in.

Other issues I encountered:

Also, the squeeze option was selected on all of my slides and they all show like I selected trim.

Also, zoom percentages for slide motion seem to not work as expected when selecting a % less than 100% or is just broken also. Most of my slides are set to start at 75% and zoom to 100%. Some of my slides zoom in and some zoom out for some reason. I got it to look OK, but was more difficult to use than expected. Perhaps this is somehow connected to my squeeze option not working?

• Lastly, I tried setting the window to transparent so that on the first slide you could see my background like it says in the FAQ, but it doesn't seem to work because the plug-in seems to want to resubstitute black in the background color options when you select no color. Once it has been inserted once it will default back to black each time.

Active Slideshow Pro dimension could be defined from Proprties panel by setting W and H properties.

The effects that you describe works only with Arial font. Unfortunately, we cannot use "font injection" into the flash because the flash file is already created. (It is not build during the creation/modification of the Slide show. Only the object parameters and xml values are changed).

About the zoom percentage I would like to refer you to the following statement of the Active Slideshow Pro manual:

If you set to 0% (or another value below 100%) the slideshow will use a random pattern of zoom start and end values. If you use a value above 100% then the camera zooms into the image.

I hope that this will help with some of the issues.
