I only have one photo that repeats in a dreamweaver template as a banner see

but after the second repeat the image dissappears leaving only the text. it then continues to show the only image briefly before blanking it down leaving the text. this repeats on showing mainly blanks.
I have tried adding the same image twice incase it I had to have mroe than 1 image, but the same problem - any ideas?

I have noticed that you use single slide in your Active Slideshow Pro.
Perhaps, this is causing the problem.

Try to add additional slide to your Slideshow, with the same image. For example the modified xml could look like this:

thanks for this - I thought I had tried it with 2 - but by cutting and pasting the xml - it all works.

the only problems I have slightly - I use dream weaver templates and the extension puts the xml and the swf into the template folder - but I think this is problem with dreamweaver as ever since I "upgraded" XP to Vista I had lots of problems with dreamweaver.
now when I add the active slideshow pro - dreamweaver doesn't recognise it as being there so I ca'nt then edit it!

Hi Peter,

Usually, Dreamweaver doesn't recognize the extensions when the code generated on your page is manually modified or when the extension is included in template.

An other reason could be some problems with Dreamweaver (You have mentioned that the problem appeared after the upgrade).

If the problem is with Dreamweaver you could try to delete Dreamweaver cache file.
Usually it is at c:\documents and settings\yourusername\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver x\Configuration. (For Dreamweaver CS3 try the following path: C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Configuration)

The file have a name like WinFileCache-7A9586CB.dat (The following string could be different for your computer 7A9586CB).

<b>NOTE:</b> These folders are normally hidden. Therefore, you may have to use Explorer &gt; Tools &gt; Folder Options to unhide them)

If this does not help, try to uninstall and install again the extension from Extension Manager.

yep - it was becuase I manually editted the xml - once I had removed it all and started from scratch it 's all hunky dory.
