I have set up a dynamic gallery. I am able to delete photographs, move photographs and edit the text, but when I upload an image, although the status bar shows up saying that files are uploading, files are not being uploaded to the server and don't appear in the gallery.
I am on a MAC running dreamweaver MX. I have both the .xml file and the image folder set to 777. I have uploaded the entire scriptlibrary folder to the server as well. I have the latest versions of both PHP upload and resize.

Has anyone else been having an issue with uploading images? I've installed the dynamic photo gallery on two different web sites and neither one can upload images - only edit text and delete. Any feedback would be welcome.

Hi Heather,

We have seen this problems only when the server is running in a very secure limiting mode.

We have improved this in the latest version and there is also a faq that you might want to check:

Thank you. Your staff was very very helpful, working to figure out what the issue was with my server. It seemed to be a combination of my server running PHP 5x as well as the mod_security settings. Even with uploading the .htaccess file to my server and the new script that supports PHP 5x, I am still having inconsistent success uploading images. I have it working on two of my photo galleries, but can't get it to work on three others. If I pinpoint what the exact problem is, I'll certainly communicate it. Thanks again.

Make sure you also have the latest version of the extension.

I also need help with the upload feature. I've uploaded photos, saw the status bar but not the successful message, refreshed browser - but the photo does not appear in the thumbnail list. I've turned off the mod_security feature on the domain, but it still does not work.

Any suggestions? I'm able to modify the title of the photos, but just can't upload.
