Hi George,

This is a Flash upload thing ... when the Flash Upload Control is waiting for the server to save the file, the Flash Player gets borred and thinks that something is very wrong.

You should just choose "No" (do not abort)

We will investigate in the future if we can bypass this "smart" flash player ...

Greetings,
george

This problem has being fixed in the just released update 3.03

Please download the latest version, install in extension manager, restart DW, finish up the installation wizard, restart DW again and reapply Pure ASP Upload 3 again on your upload pages. You can just choose it from the Server Behaviors panel and confirm it by pressing OK.

Then you will get an alert about the changed files - make sure you upload those to your live website.

Greetings,
George

We have updated to version 3.0.4 and are also getting this error message. Our clients often need to upload files that are in excess of 20 MB and we were hoping this would be a solutions. We have been able to get close with version 2. With the peformance increase in 3 we thought we had it. Any chance this error message can some how be surpressed?

As it turns out all the time this error message it present on the screen the file continues to upload. It even appears to allow the file to continue to upload after selecting YES in the abort dialog box. (FireFox 1.5/7 7 Win XP SP2, Flash Player 9)

Any ideas or plans for a possible fix?

Thanks,
Cain

HI,

Just verifying Don Glasgow's post. ASP Uload 3.0.6 & Flash Player 8 or 9 both produce same error message. Have tested on WinXP SP2 and OSX 10.4.

Is this really a problem that can be corrected in the script or is it something that needs to be addressed in Flash Player?

Thanks,
Cain

This is a Flash Player behavior for which at this point we cannot find feasible solution. Nevertheless, we will continue to search for some kind of workaround. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
