Hi,

My first CSS Image Gallery works great, except in Opera. Not that this is a huge problem, but I thought I'd bring it to your attention. Here's my slideshow:

Opera 9.23 (at least on Windows Vista) has a small problem with it, but you can get it to work by clicking the thumbnails… then after that the right/left arrows on the photos themselves seem to work fine…very strange. It seems to want to play in slideshow format immediately upon page load, yet the photos fade to white.

Hi Mary Anne,

Yes we are aware about the opera issue and are still looking for solution. It is difficult as it seems to be some bugs in Opera itself.
So we are still searching for a bypass.

Happily it works all fine in all other major browser like IE, FireFox and Safari

Greetings,
George

PS. Great slideshow btw! Cute costumes!

Thanks, George! And your extension shows off my photos very well.

I do have a question about the behavior on Safari, though. I don't have a Mac so I can't test this out, but when I sent the link around to the tech committee at the school, I received this reply - and since I can't test it I'll just quote verbatim:

"This looks great! On my Mac, I tried it on Safari (3.05) and Firefox (2.0.0.6) and found only one exception. On Firefox - pressing the small thumbnails selected that picture; however on Safari that feature did not work - clicking on the small thumbnail did not select that picture. But all the navigation buttons worked well - scrolling through the pictures and the thumbnails worked perfectly."

What do you think - could you please test this out on Safari on Mac?

Thanks very much!

Mary Anne
