We’re planning to get legally married and considering Georgia as an option. We’re both foreigners, currently living abroad, and heard the process there is simple and fast. Has anyone done this recently? Trying to figure out how it really works and if documents are recognized internationally. Replies

Yes, my partner and I got married in Georgia last year. We’re both from different countries and didn’t want to deal with embassy delays. Georgia turned out to be a great choice. We used https://leto.wedding/ to organize everything — they handled the legal documents, translations, and ceremony spot. The marriage certificate was ready in a couple of days and accepted back home without issues. Definitely recommend it if you want something efficient and stress-free.

We’re looking into this too. The no-residency requirement and short processing time are what attracted us. I’ve read that even couples from the Gulf and Asia are going to Georgia for civil weddings now. Just want to be sure we meet the document requirements before we book anything.
