Here's the Scenario: Trigger page opens small popup window in center of screen (which works fine); however, when I click another window other than the popup, the popup goes away (even though "always on top" has been checked in the popup window's attributes.) When I click a link in the popup to go to another page within the same window, the new page does not auto close (even though "auto close" has been set for 5 seconds). [FYI: the popup window includes a form tag and the link in the popup is the submit button for the form.] What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

As an addendum to the above, I've figured out how the Auto Close works; but the "Always On Top" problem still persists.

Also, I've just noticed that the borderless (splash screen) mode doesn't seem to be working - I'm still getting a title bar across the top of the window. (splash screen check box is checked - I'm using IE 5.0 on a Mac)

Did you specify a window name? You should do that

Yes, there is a window name for both the borderless popup as well as the popup that's to be always on top; yet, still no luck.

Please note that the Always on Top - for IE results that the popup stays on top of the IE browser - but other non IE windows/apps - can get on top of it when activated.

It is the IE browser windows and only the IE browser windows that the popup is not staying on top of. Any thoughts as to why the borderless option is not functioning as it should? Thanks.

With IE 6 SP1 - Microsoft has decided to deny borderless or full screen windows because of security issues - so maybe this is your problem.

The browser I'm using is IE 5.0 for Mac, so that wouldn't explain why the borderless option is not working for me, would it? Again, and more importantly, why isn't the Always On Top feature working?
