Yes I would also be able to specify target to " _blank" as default fo links, most clients don't know anything about what this is. I have tried to edit "insert_link.html" but couldn't get it to work.

I wrote this request about one year ago for the first version of advanced html editor that I bought:

"It would be great to have the ability to show allready uploaded images in the upload image dialog and use them again in a new article made by Advanced HTML Editor.

Extend the link popup with file upload with the same function (list already uploaded files like pdf, xls or doc) and ability to link to the file direkt in the Advanced HTML Editor for download in an article made in Advanced HTML Editor."

Well the image part are fixed with the "Image gallery ext." but still waiting for the file upload part that you said im Mars 15 2004 "We have it on our request list already, but will take a little while until all request will be added"

Buing Advanced HTML Editor 2 and PHP Upload and Image gallery (after allready bought the first version of Advanced HTML Editor) That are great tools otherwise didn't help me out.

I now have a mix of scripts: one for uploading files and show them and their paths. Clients then have to copy the path and paste it in the link popup and specify target and they just cant manage all that <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>
