Anchor does not work!

I set a named anchor where I wanted the "scroller genie" to go and it does not matter whether you tell it this at the beginning or edit it afterwards - the scroller genie will only go where the initial "top" and "left" position settings are. And even if you delete the the values already there and leave these settings blank, scroller genie assumes 0 and your scroller genie will be in the top left corner of your page. The ONLY way to put this scroller genie where YOU want it to be is to drag it. This is a real beach because of the layers piled on top of layers. And as far as I know there is no way to select all those layers and move them where you want them. So that is why I don't use scroller genie very much even though I paid full price for it. This is the second time I have purchased something from the DMX zone and been dissapointed. The stuff here has lots of promise but no support for what you pay for. That is why I haven't bought anything else here. It looks to good to be true and guess what - it is.

Anchor sort of works!

Create a table from scratch. Add a named anchor in the cell you know you will want the scroller to show. Then add the scroller genie. Then add the images and other text items you want to the other cells. If you are using Dreamweaver in design mode, the scoller will NOT be located where you think it should. But when you preview in browser, it will be displayed correctly. The problem you will run into is haveing to add new text and / or modifiy the stuff that is showing under the scroller. I don't know any way around this. It's just messy but oh well. Maybe just use Code view.
