Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how my work experience has changed over the years. I used to have a regular 9-to-5 office job, but I’ve recently switched to working remotely full-time. It got me wondering—how do you personally experience the differences between a traditional on-site job and working remotely? I’m not just talking about logistics like commuting or dress code, but more about how it affects your mindset, motivation, daily structure, and even your sense of connection to others. Does remote work actually feel different for you on a deeper level? I’d love to hear how it’s changed things for you—both the expected and unexpected parts Replies

For me, the biggest shift wasn't about the lack of commute or even working in sweatpants—it was how I relate to time. With a regular job, the day felt carved out for me. I left home, entered a different space, followed a structure that was already there. Once I got into remote work, I realized how much of that structure had been external. Now, I have to create that rhythm myself or the day just blurs together. I started using time blocks, even adding ""fake commute"" walks in the morning, just to mentally separate work and home. Another thing that surprised me is how quiet it gets. Not in a bad way, but when you’re remote, there’s no small talk, no overhearing someone’s music or lunchtime story. It’s oddly serene, and sometimes that quiet is really productive—but sometimes it can feel a little too silent

Interesting topic—I’ve felt that shift too, especially in how I manage energy. In a regular job, even if I wasn’t feeling 100%, just being around others gave me a kind of passive momentum. I’d overhear discussions, someone would ask me a question, and it would naturally pull me into the flow of the day. But with remote work, I noticed that my energy doesn’t have the same external spark. I have to actively generate it. I’ve started using background noise apps and even working in cafes sometimes just to recreate that buzz. On the flip side, I’ve found I can lean into deep focus in ways I never could in a busy office. There’s a clarity to remote work that I didn’t expect—especially when I get to design my workspace how I want it.About job itself, well i can say that i find jobs Remote First Jobs at one website and there is a good choice of employers

Working for yourself is also a risk. I'm not even sure that I can honestly advise beginners to start their own business. However, there are other ways. I also get money from sports betting - https://1xbet.cg/ My choice is the Congo Football Championship. I am looking for the perfect opportunity to bet among the locals. I can't explain it, but I manage to win here rather than calculate European football.
