has this problem

Since the latest SBB update to 1.0.4, PDFs no longer appear in a DMX Lightbox via the SBB using the Behavior Connector. PDFs appear okay in a DMX Lightbox alone. What appears is a white space in place of the PDF and when I close the LB, for a split moment the PDF is visible.

After updating the SBB extension, I opened each of my SBBs in order for the changes to be made and uploaded all of the changed files. In addition I opened each image that has a Lightbox effect in the Behavior Connector and reapplied the Lightbox coding.

Hello Kevin,

Sorry for the delay,

Could you pass a link to one page where this is happening?

As I stated before, since the latest update of the SBB, when linking a PDF via the Behavior Connector to open in a LightBox, the PDF no longer appears. This seems to only happen in Safari on the Mac. Using it, when the link is clicked, a blank page appears. In order to see the PDF, you need to use the roll-over tool at the bottom to open it in Preview. In Firefox on the Mac, a pop-up asks to either open it in Preview (by default on my Mac) or save it. On a PC using IE, Goggle Chrome and Safari, the PDF appears once Acrobat is loaded. Previous versions of SBB this was not an issue. You can view this at www.kais-dso.eu.dodea.edu/ (click on the Asian-Pacific Heritage Month banner in the SBB).

This is NOT an issue in any platform or browser when simply having a PDF open in a Lightbox (for example: www.kais-dso.eu.dodea.edu/curriculum/academics/pts/pts.htm -- click on the Career Explorer PDF link).

Thanks for looking into this matter.

Still waiting for a response to this issue!

As I further investigate the issues already stated, it appears that there are bugs that only happen in the Safari web browsers since the latest update to the SBB. When I use the Behavior Connector to create a Lightbox from the SBB, the LB'ed webpage does not scroll, when an embedded LB link is visited, once closing it, the contents in the original LB are no longer visible. These and the already stated issues seem to only occur with Safari. Samples of this can be seen via Safari at the following link: www.rams-hs.eu.dodea.edu/

Please check on this and provide a fix as this was not an issue in previous SBB releases with Safari!

As I further investigate this issue, it seems to be localized to Safari (4.0.5) running on Snow Leopard. I tested my websites with other Macs running Snow Leopard and the same issues are present. However, I tested the same websites with Safari (4.0.5) running on Leopard and there were no such issues: the SBB and LB function as intended.

As stated before, I had no such issues before the latest SBB update. Nothing had changed on my Mac (running Snow Leopard) before or after the SBB update. By the way, I use DW CS4 on the Mac (Snow Leopard).

Hello Kevin,

I have passed the issue to the extension developer. Once I have a result from him I'll post you.

Well, it is now August and still there has not been a resolution to the above posted problem. Again, in Safari with Snow Leopard, when LB-ing a PDF from the SB, the PDF does not appear. LB-ing a PDF outside of the SB displays just fine. All extensions are up-to-date and uploaded to the server. What is the status of this issue?
