I have Sliding Billboard and Lightbox in the same page.
every thing works fine in FF and Safari. How ever in IE8 when you load the page it looks fine, but when you click on any thumbnail for the first time it opens the image in lightbox but it also puts the following error at the bottom of the page in IE:

Also the lightbox don't open and close smoothly as it does on FF and Safari. slower and sticky. and after few times the close button on top right of lightbox page stop appearing.

I have spend some time on this and could not find out what could be wrong.

I'm sorry for the delay in my answer.

The problem you are experiencing can be due to :
1. An empty line in the beginning of the page code - remove it, please.
2. Due to some browser problems the onclick behavior is doubled when is set through Sliding Billboard. The fix is removing the one of these onclick behaviors either in li element (preferred) or in the link that is set on the image in the billboard.
That is in regards of your JS error.
About the loading and closing in IE. I noticed that you have some 404 errors that are in regards of the menu widget you are using and together with the JS error they might have result in that lower performance.
The links that return the 404 error are as follows:

They are called 2 times each and take a bit more than a second in page load.

I did the changes you mentioned.
the JS Error is gone.
How ever IE still opens and closes the lightbox very slow and not smooth, and after opening and closing the lightbox couple of times the close button on top right of the image disappears.
