Dreamweaver MX : DSn Connection 550 Error

I'm just finding my way round DWMX (24hours in) and I have already hit a semi brick wall.
I have one of my test html pages and am trying to connect to a server based Database, using the dsn tool.
Click on the button and the above is the error log.
Anyone any ideas on this ?

Ohhh and just to fill in some more, I can hadn code the connection no problem, but that negates a lot of the DWMX functionality of being able to see the results live - I want to be able to connect to the ftp db whilst working on my machine, that's why I've been pulling hair trying to get the DW DB connection to work.
