display multiple search forms on one page

I have a search page that contains 5 different search forms. I don't want 5 different results pages. I know it is possible to have only one page diplay results using hidden fields and conditions, but I don't know how to write the code. Can someone direct me to an example of it? Thanks!Alexandra D.
