Flash Image Enhancer <script> tag

I have noticed when I apply this extension to an image on a webpage it inserts the tag<script src="ScriptLibrary/dmxFlashImageEnhancer.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
right at the foot of the page just before the </html> tag.
When I then upload the page to the server, the enhancements do not appear. However, If I move the script tag line to the top of the page, a few lines down from the <html> tag everything works ok. The page I am applying it to is based on a template - I assume this is not relevant. You can see the page :

Is there some setting I should have changed to enable the extension to do this?
