I have used the mp3 player on a site that I have made. Now I hear that my customer if he goes over the mp3 player, he gets the message that he can download the mp3. Myself I don't get this message message strange enough.

Is this something that's in the script of the player? Can I change something that people don't get this message and are not able to download the mp3's?

Please have a look at: www.bbb-online.nl/new/index.html

Thanks for any help

Hi Elizabeth,

I just had a look at the page. I cannot get the download message to appear in any browser. May your customer can create a screenshot to have a look at. Also ask what browser he or she is using.

There is no setting in the script to prevent downloading. Visitors who look at the source code see the location of the mp3 file and can download.

Kind regards, Patrick

PS If next time you have a question about a commercial DMXzone extension, post your question in the Support Forum for that extension.

He's using IE 8. I think he has some small program installed which he doesn't even know himself, that gives him this message because the program detects the location of the mp3. I found also in an other forum (the mp3 player support forum) on this site that there was an other person who asked about protection for downloading. The response was that this was difficult. Maybe you have a solution?

Before I was using a mp3 player that took the mp3 files from an xml file, with that player the customer didn't get the message.

He gets the message when he puts his mouse on the player.

Hi Elizabeth,

Like I also replied in the Support Forum for the MP3 Player, your request was added to the wish list for future updates.

Kind regards, Patrick

Hi Elizabeth,

I cannot give you an answer to that. Some extensions are updated frequently, others never. It all depends on user questions, importance of the wishes or bugs.

Kind regards, Patrick
