Hello!

First off, I'm a big fan of DMX Zone, it's amazing to get this much inspiration.

I coded my website from scratch a few months ago and would like to hear your opinions and thoughts. I don't necessary need to make my personal website better, but I'd like to get a better perspective on how to develop my artistic skills. Thanks!

Nice site indeed. Some captions on the photos would be good.

You appear to know your stuff. Can you tell us how long you have been working on these skills? What might a newbee benefit from knowing to gain you level of skills?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I too have been working on sites, but hardly for design. I use a cookie cutter approach because all of my time goes into content writing and ranking.

Here's my flagship (crimescenecleanup.com) which is not doing so well these days. I hope to spend some time on design because I need another source of income.

Maybe if I can design OK and rank well then I'll find some business.

I'm about to subscribe to the whole enchilada for $398 or so. I hope that it's worth it.

Regards,
eddieevans

Thanks, everyone. I just remodeled in again. This time I added a smooth fading transition to each page, compression of all files via GZip and cache, dynamic effects. The challenge was how to make the pages load faster with all the content and images, and a few answers can be found here: developer.yahoo.com/performance/rules.html

P.S I tried to add caption as much as I can, but with over 2,000+ images, it'd take me forever.

Hey Jim,

I like you website, too. If you can control the DMX slider speed, that'd be nice, since navigating from Home to Our Product is a little too fast for me. You might also want to try this : liquidslider.com/
I like that your website loads fast and everything I need is on one page.
