Add custom lists to Ajax Autocomplete templates
Create your own lists for fast access!
Question:
How can I add custom lists to Ajax Autocomplete templates?
Answer:
The Ajax Autocomplete extension offers the possibility to time and time again use lists very fast by choosing one of the built-in templates. Starting from the installation, there are a couple of templates available. It is very easy to create custom templates and use them within Ajax Autocomplete.
The templates are located at the following location:
C:\Documents
and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver
CS4\en_US\Configuration\Shared\DMXzone\Ajax Autocomplete\Templates
Each template is a .tpl file. Create a new Notepad file and save it at the location mentioned above. The name for this file will be visible in the template list, so make sure it's name shows what the content is about. Also make sure the extension for the new file is .tpl.
Open the file again in Notepad. Now enter each value for the list on a new line. Save and close the file.
(Re)start Dreamweaver and start the Ajay Autocomplete extension. Select the option Generate autocomplete from templates in the Autocomplete provider section. See that the new template is now visible in the template list.
