Today we have more DMXzone Twitter Widget features to share with you, as development continues. Our new Dreamweaver extension, Twitter Widget, which is coming this Wednesday, displays your tweets on a web page in real time. You'll be able to create a custom widget with tweets from any source of your choosing and customize its size, refresh interval, design, and the text fields to perfectly fit your website design as well as the ideas that you want to share.

The Story

Great Dreamweaver integration - The DMXzone Twitter Widget is fully integrated in Dreamweaver. We've added all the options that you'll need to create a custom widget with tweets directly in your Dreamweaver.

Size of the Twitter Widget - You can set the exact size of the Twitter Widget that will fit best in your web site. If you leave the field blank the widget will fill the container.

Different sources to fetch your tweets from - You can enter the name of the user whose tweets should display in the widget or optionally the name of the list that the tweets would be fetched from.

Number of tweets to show - Set the number of tweets that you want to display on your site. You can display up to 100 tweets in the widget.

Avatar size - You can change the size of your avatar that will be displayed on the page. The maximum size of your avatar is 48px.

Header and footer text - The Twitter Widget allows you to add not only plain text but also HTML code, so that you can easily include a link, an image or a welcome message in your Header and Footer fields.

Refresh interval - You can set the interval that your tweets will be refreshed.

Stylish Designs that you can choose from - Our Dreamweaver extension will allow you to customize the layout for tweets within the widget. We have a stylish collection of beautiful designs that you can choose from and make your widget look great on any site. Preview of the DMXzone Twitter Widget designs will be available tomorrow.

Tweets template - You can create a custom tweets template and present only the information that is necessary for your Twitter Widget. You can choose to show any of the following elements: your avatar; user name; time of publishing the tweet; join text in between date and the tweet text; text of the tweet; link for reply action; link for retweet and link for favorite action.

Join text - You can enter a custom text between the date and the tweet text, if you prefer the widget to display this text regardless of the context. Set to auto if you want to display the default options.

Optional verb tense matching - The advanced settings for the verb tense matching for human readable tweets you can find in the 'Join Texts' tab. Here you can explore all the options for your auto Join Texts.

Automatic linking - Automatic linking of URLs and @replies to users’ twitter page.
