Hello

How can I add a condition in the request generated by the extension, for example : "mydb.myfield = 1". I took a look at the generated autocomplete.php file but can't can't figure out how to complete this.

It would be a good thing to have this option in the extension, a field where we can add custom conditions.

Best Regards

Adel

Hi Teodor

Actually I've created a view in my db in order to get the right data,;but not anybody can do this in order to finetune his query; that's why I think that this can be a interesting feature for a future release of Ajax AutoComplete .

Hi Andres

Thanks, That's exactly what I'm using actually in two projets.

The use of views is a good way to finetune your query and display data as you want using concatenation. This way you don't break the extension code.

But maybe DMXZONE will add such a feature in the extension, allowing custom queries and custom display of the resulting data ??
