I don't use DW CC, but latest DMXzone Updater says it is uploading the .zxp version for my installed extensions. However they do install correctly. Just a bit confusing when one is expecting .mxp files to be downloaded. Is this normal behaviour?

Hello David,

As DW CS6 is a mid version form CS5.5, where MXP files are used and before moving to only ZXP files to be used in CC, it Can handle both types.

So, if I'm understanding this correctly, the nivo slider that I just paid for and downloaded as a .zxp file, is NOT going to work with my DW CS4. Is that a true statement?

You should rather download the .mxp Nivo Slider file for use with DW CS4. Extension Manager CS4 only reads .mxp files.
