Hi,I updated the updater extension today. The automatic 1.7.0 version would not complete the update. I downloaded the updated 1.7.1, closed dreamweaver, uninstalled 1.7.0 and installed 1.7.1. This is on Windows XP fully patched and DW CS5.5 fully patched.
I'm posting this to let you know about some errors I came across troubleshooting another issue. I have no issues in operation at present but sometimes knowing about errors being logged can be helpful in improving the product or preventing future problems.
The following errors were logged here:
\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5\Configuration\Commands\dmxUpdateHead.htm
Here is the contents of the log file:

While executing onLoad, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:

I should note I recently upgraded from CS5 to CS5.5 so I could use the bootstrap extensions.

I just started to have this problem yesterday and it's maddening. Nothing is wrong, the code validates. So what's going on with this and how can I fix it?

I figured out what was wrong with my issue. I am using Flexi CSS Menus, on a left sidebar with a submenu. I simply fed dreamweaver too much information at one time. When I pasted in just two or three menu items at a time and saved, it was no longer on error. Flexi CSS Menus has little documentation and support. I'll write CSS menus from scratch from now on.
