I have a strange problem in that I have got my video working in IE8, Chrome, Opera and FireFox but in Safari it is only showing the left half of video on right hand side of canvas.
The left side of the canvas is solid black. Weird or what!
I have searched the net for any clues but have drawn a blank. Any help please, thanks.

Peter,

Just letting you know: I see the problem in Safari, but not FF or Chrome so I'm guessing it's a layout problem not a player problem.

Check your CSS. There is a 175px left margin on line 15 of your style.css file. Fine tune that and you should be fine.

Thanks for that comment. Before I posted this topic I tested the page with the left margin set to 0 and the whole canvas moved to left aligned but the problem remained exactly the same.

Hello Peter,

It seems to be a layout problem.

Please, start excluding css file links to determine which one is the one that brings it. Once you find that start to exclude the statements this file has until you find out which statement does the issue. Then test to see which property of the statement is the trouble maker and play around with it until you find the best value for it.

Thanks for your advise. After spending some time tweaking the css to no avail I decided to start again and create a new version of the page. The only took a few moments as HTML5 Video Player makes it so easy. The new page works a treat. Thanks for all the help.
