I have been using the HTML5 Video Player for a while and posted a number of videos to my website. Today I posted a new video but when I tried to play in in full screen mode, the full screen page opened up but the video played only in the upper left corner and in the same size as before I clicked on full screen mode.

I went back and tested a couple of my previously loaded videos and they are not playing in full screen either. They all used to play flawlessly in the past.

I have tried viewing the videos on both my iMac and Macbook Pro (OS 10.9 Mavericks, Safari). They open in full screen on my iPad. All videos are uploaded in MP4, WebM and OGV formats.

The videos plays in full screen using Google Chrome. Why not in Safari?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

This problem was never fixed by DMXzone. Despite monthly e-mails and online chats the issue still persists. It is almost six months since I posted this issue. This is not what I would call good customer service. I was hoping that the DMXzone developers would fix the issue so the HTML5 Video Player would work in fullscreen mode in Safari after Apple released the latest version of their OS, Yosemite (OS 10.10). However, no such luck.

There are other issues such as scrubbing back and forth in the various skins does not work.

Until the video player issues are fixed, I cannot recommend anyone to use it.

Also, the lack of response to my posting almost six months ago speaks volumes about the lack of customer service shown by DMXzone.

I am ready to switch to another player extension. Can anyone suggest a great alternative?
