Hi DMX Team

I've just installed the new AHE3 and like it alot. Table editing is now working great.
One thing I miss, however, is browsing the server for images. Upload works great, but it is a must-have-feature to insert images that are already on the server.

Maybe I'm missing something and that feature is already present. If so, please point me to the right direction.

Greetings

Willi

Hi Willi,

We are working on a Gallery Addon for the editor right now, so it is coming up! Just like the addon for the previous version but also totally revamped and fitting great in the new inline dialogs.

So stay tuned!

Greetings,
George

I'd also be really interested in the image gallery addon. I won't buy AHE3 until this is done so waiting eagerly. I have the previous version of both and they are OK - looking forward to this upgrade.

Hi!

Doesn't the Adv HTML Editor Image Gallery AddOn PHP 1.0.2 work with Advanced HTML Editor 3 [?] Really need that to work [!]

What other DMX Zone extensions are not compatible with the new editor [?]

Hello,

Since the Adv. HTML Editor uses the jQuery version 1.4.4 any extension or script that is deoending on the previous versions ( <= 1.3.2) will have more or less problems when used on same page.

When do you think the Image Gallery addon will be available for this extension?

I'm hoping that this "browse server" will also include support for files other than image files. (uploading, selecting, deleting) I have to continue to use a different product until this is supported. But I'm really looking forward to being able to use Advanced HTML Editor 3.

Thanks.

Can you advise whether AHE3 will work on the iOS (iPad and iPhone)? I have tried a few different editors under iOS and none of them trigger the keyboard. This is a real problem for me.

Just testing the demo does not work on iOS.

This is the only one I have found so far that works

Thanks...that's a bit of a shame. I suppose it could be possible to do some browser sniffing and replace the control if the user is on an iOS device. Pain in the neck though.

Hello Joe,

Will discuss this with the developers but I guess that such thing may become available as Add-on.

Ok. If it's not outrageous I'd buy it. Do note however that your competitor does provide this already built in. I already have that extension but I'd like to keep things as close to all of one maker of my extensions or the other.

Thanks.
