I've had serious problems getting thumbnails to work at all in Nivo slider. I figure out that the extension (at least for me) does not insert the rel="" tag into the image tag to indicate the location of the thumbnails when you select either the basic or featured presets with thumbnails.

Information on thumbnails, their paths, etc. is non-existent in the support documentation, so it would be helpful if you could add some info on this.

Does the rel="" part of the image tag ONLY get added to the Nivo slider code when you use the image resizer or what?

Only once in the last 3 hours of experimenting with this extension did it actually insert the rel="" part of the image tag, and I have no idea why it did in that instance, but no other time. I just always have broken image links for thumbnails.

Hello Steve,

Seems like you do not insert anything in the Id field of the slider Interface, when you add images one by one. Make sure to have an unique id there for each of your images.

I'm a little late on the reply but that didn't work for me. I had unique ID's in there for each image in the static list but still had broken image links for thumbnails.
