On my page pvhigh.com/ the Nivo slider is in the header section. There is a gap below the slider that forces the rest of the page content down, leaving a blank (grey) area above the main. Can you tell me how to tighten up the space?

That is caused by the construction of your layout
If you resize the images in the nivo slider to : width: 716px; height: 220px; everything will fit.
