With facebook pages changing to timelines, and the pages that we crate with the facebook fan page extension chaning to Apps, will you be updating the extension to take into account the new design constraints?

As an example, the new App width appears to be bigger....

I understand that it takes time to develop your products and I appreciate the update, however I think releasing an update after the 30 March when Facebook force the change of page to a timeline is a bad decision.

The option is available now to upgrade your page as is the option to view it in the new form so that you can develop it now ready for the forced changeover.
