When I hit save I get this error:"While executing onLoad in dmxLessCompiler.htm, a JavaScript error occured"
I deleted my cache and restarted Dreamweaver but it is still giving me the error. I am on Mac OSX Mountain Lion and Dreamweaver CC 13.1.

Hello,
Please make sure you defined your website in Dreamweaver and not just opening any file from a folder anywhere on your hard drive.

I did. I have a site defined for this project. I have my less files in a sub folder called less and the css in a folder called css. Do the files need to be in the root?

We will be updating the Less Compiler extension to fully function with the latest DW CC 13.1 as it is current broken.
Expect an update very soon.

How is the "closed" when people are still having the problem. I cannot get this to work on my DW CS5 working within a defined site.

I had the problem as well because I acquired the file directly from Adobe Exchange. It is not the most recent version though. Uninstall the "DMXzone LESS CSS Compiler" extension using Adobe Extension Manager. Download it again directly from DMXzone (you will need to register for a free account). It should be version 1.0.1 which works with Dreamweaver 2014.1. Then reinstall the new version through Adobe Extension Manager. Test it.
If you get the following message when you restart Dreamweaver:
"The Document Type "Less CSS Style" will not be added because it uses a file extension that is already associated with a prior Document Type," follow solution steps described here: www.dmxzone.com/support/21528/topic/58479/.
Save a copy of the original XML file before modifying.
