Well the extensions is from Adobe and we are just providing it for convenience as it is discontinued by them.
However seems in the latest DW CC 2017 it is broken - so you can contact Adobe support about it.
I will strongly suggest you to switch to the new DMXzone Server Connect - which is a much better and modern way of doing server side work than the old deprecated server behaviors.
