Hiya all,

just a quickie, I am working on a Database based site that enables users to search it. Simple! However I would like two of the search criteria to be in the form of List/Menu boxes. When a user selects Type A from the first box, the second would automatically change to display the options only relevant to the first option selected.

e.g. List 1 - Ford
List 2 Changes to Puma
Cougar
Escort
Maverick
etc.

I have learned that this type of thing can be achieved using a Post Back. However I can not seem to find where the info on it is. I would appreciate any help in directing me to a tutorial or something, as this topic is maybe a little weighty for a forum.

Thanks in advance.
Matt

Web Assist has an extension already for this.

Buuutttt....if you don't feel like paying $20, here is another excellent extension (which is free.) <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
