I have recently uploaded a site that works fine in Macintosh Internet Explorer 5, but in Netscape 4.7 the .swf files are not doing their thing..... I previewed the pages extensively before uploading in both browsers, and they looked OK....... Also, the same files work fine in Netscape on the AOL homepages server..... Gotta be server related right? What should I do, do you think?Replies

You should ask your server admin to set the MIME Type settings for swf correct. More info is available www.macromedia.com/support/flash

Thanks so much Waldo........ your suggestion worked famously. How did you first come across information on "MIME type settings"? Seems like some right obscure biness...... Anyway, thanks again......... if you like you can view your fix at <www.mathieuxart.com> .........
